Your Privacy Choices: Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Effective November 1, 2026 · Last updated September 28, 2026
Hot Sauce HQ does not sell your personal information for money. Some state laws, including California's, treat certain advertising and analytics cookies as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, or as targeted advertising. You can opt out of all of these at any time.
How to opt out
- Signed in: Settings → Privacy & data → turn on Do not sell or share my personal information. This applies to your account on every device.
- Website, signed out: Cookie settings in the footer → turn off Advertising, or click "Reject all."
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out for that browser automatically.
- Apps: reset your ad choice in Settings → Privacy & data, and use your phone's ad-tracking settings.
- By email: stayspicy@hotsauceheadquarters.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share." An authorized agent may submit a request for you with proof of authority.
What changes when you opt out
We stop allowing advertising partners to use your information for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. Free members may still see non-personalized ads, and brands still receive only aggregated, de-identified statistics. Opting out does not change your price or service.
Sensitive information
We do not collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you, so there is no separate "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" choice.
Nevada residents
You may submit a request not to sell covered information to stayspicy@hotsauceheadquarters.com.
