About this sauce
This is not your average hot sauce. Crema Macha is a revelation. When Hot Ones Season 28 premiered, host Sean Evans described it as 'more like a creamy garlicky aioli' — and that's exactly what makes it so addictive. Chef Josue Rivas drew on the Mexican tradition of Salsa Macha to create a sauce equal parts chili oil, roasted garlic spread, and nutty sesame richness: smoky, toasted, deeply savory, and unlike anything else in your pantry. Peruvian Limo peppers and Aji Amarillo bring bright, fruity heat. Toasted sesame seeds create a nutty dimension that makes this sauce behave like a premium condiment. Medium heat — noticeable but never overwhelming. Use on rice bowls, ramen, roasted vegetables, or drizzle over pizza.
