About this sauce
First, there is no chocolate in this sauce. Jamaican Hot Chocolate Habaneros are wonderful chiles, but hard to grow. We don’t get a crop every year up here in Oregon, so when we do, we make every chile into sauce. These are the hottest of the habanero variety of chile peppers (about 800K SHU), and you can tell on your first taste. We blend in a rich and complex pomegranate juice, as well as garlic powder and a few secret herbs, to produce a sauce that tastes like you are having grandma’s famous mole while holding on to an electric fence!
