About this sauce
In season (AUG.-OCT.), we have live chile roasters at the 2 farmers markets we attend. Roasting a chile over open flame does several things: it blisters and chars the bitter skin for easy removal, and it caramelizes some of the sugars of the chile, greatly enhancing the flavor. Well, it only makes sense that we offer a sauce with our famous roasted chiles, and here you go. Fresh-pressed blackberry puree from our farm makes for the most full-flavored sauce we make! You’ll lose yourself in the complexity of flavor this sauce presents…
